So, how will the Epic MegaGrant support the future of ZibraAI?
Here at ZibraAI, we develop a system of tools that bring a new level of realistic visual effects, improve and semi-automate the process of 3D content creation, working along three main tracks: data compression, visual effects creation, and 3D content generation.
- The ZibraAI Compression engine is a next-gen AI-powered solution for compressing virtual volumetric data. It already includes two compression products, Zibra SDF Compression and Zibra VDB Compression, and more are coming soon!
- The ZibraAI Effects engine is a system of powerful AI-based solutions for creating realistic and interactive real-time particle simulations: Zibra Liquids and Zibra Smoke & Fire.
Zibra Liquids tool for real-time liquid simulation is the first product in the Zibra Effects ecosystem. More than sixty thousand game developers have already benefited from our tech. Currently, our solution is available for Unity and Unreal Engine.
Epic MegaGrant will help us to expand our technical team and accumulate additional resources for developing the Unreal Engine version of Zibra Liquids, as well as port other tools from the ZibraAI ecosystem to Unreal.
A few days ago, we opened registration for early access to the Unity version of Zibra Smoke & Fire, our newest tool for creating high-quality real-time simulations of dynamic, lifelike smoke and fire.
We aim to make it available for developers working on Unreal Engine as soon as possible.

Launched in 2019, Epic MegaGrants is designed to service and assist game developers, media and entertainment creators, enterprise professionals, students, educators, and tools developers doing outstanding work with Unreal Engine or enhancing open-source capabilities for the 3D graphics community.
